Chelsey and Steve tied the knot on November 28th at a small chapel in Littleton. Chelsey was a stunning bride, and the wedding was beautiful! Below are a few favorites from the day.

Merry Christmas!
Okay, so first off I'd like to say that I fully acknowledge the dorkiness of this post, but I couldn't help myself! I spent the day making presents for some of the other teachers at my husband's school, and I'm darn proud of myself! The bottom tin is filled with Reese's cookies (chocolate with peanut butter chips), and the top tin is filled with peanut butter balls - Yum! I know it's silly to take pictures of them (and even worse to post said pictures on a blog), but they're so pretty! So please forgive my odd post, and have a Merry Christmas!

Rodrigue Family Shoot
This last week has been absoutely crazy! My brother and his wife came into town from Texas, and we had a fabulous family Thanksgiving! Then Saturday it was back to work, with a family shoot and a wedding in the same day! Whew! Below are a few favorites from the Rodrigue family shoot. We found a very cool bridge in Larkspur, then wandered over to a great little playground, where there were teeter-totters, swings, and an impromptu snowball fight! It was a lot of fun, and we got some great shots.

Jonathan and Melissa Engaged!
Yesterday Jonathan and Melissa and I went on an engagement adventure! As fellow CSU Rams, we thought a shoot in Ft. Collins would be fun, with a stop off at a cornfield on the way. Jonathan saw a picture of a child in overalls in a cornfield and convinced Melissa to re-enact it. We found a great field and got some great shots, although our feet got just a teensy bit muddy. And by teensy bit I mean we were wearing giant mud shoes!
We had to stop at a gas station and buy water to get clean! Then we completed the trek to Ft. Fun, and visited the Oval, City Park, and some open space with giant fluffy plants and beautiful light. After that we finished the day off with some super fun traffic on the way home! Hee Hee! It was a truly fun and memorable shoot! Thanks Jonathan and Melissa for being such great sports! I can't wait for the wedding in July!

Little Miss Tutu
When my sister-in-law told me she bought a tutu for the Christmas pictures of my niece, I was so excited! I love tutus! As it turns out, so does Addison! She loves to dress up, and was happy to pose in exchange for goldfish crackers. We had a great time and got some great shots. I can't get over her rosey little cheeks! Have you ever seen a prettier little girl?

Steve and Chelsey Engaged
A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing Steve and Chelsey, as well as their beautiful new daughter Emmy. Our plan was to follow a path right near Dakota Ridge in Littleton (my high school, as well as Chelsey's - though she went through a few years after me). While on the cross-country team in high school, we had run the path several times, and I was always amazed by the scenery. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found the gate padlocked and barbwired, and therefore went in search of a new location. We drove back into Ken Caryl valley, and passed so many gorgeous areas we finally just pulled over on the side of the road and started shooting. The fall colors were amazing! Thanks Steve and Chelsey for being such great sports! I can't wait for the wedding!
